What we collect on the order form

Your contact name, work email, and phone (if you give one), plus the company legal name, trade, DBAs, license numbers, areas, and any notes you enter. Stripe also tells us whether your payment went through. We don’t store full card numbers.

When you submit the form, this website emails your answers to our order inbox.

How we use it

We use it to match public permit records to the company you name, build and email your report, answer questions about your order, and keep basic business records such as orders, invoices, and support emails.

Payment

Stripe processes payments. Your card details go to Stripe and are covered by Stripe’s terms and privacy policy. Checkout is a Stripe Payment Link for $599 USD.

Email delivery

We email the report to the work email on your order. The files contain addresses and permit details, so use an inbox you control.

How long we keep report files

We keep the delivered report indefinitely unless you ask us to delete it. Email hello@getpastjobs.com to request deletion of a report we delivered. We also keep order and payment records as needed for tax and accounting.

Public records

The permit data in your report comes from public records. We organize it and match it to your company. The underlying records stay public.

No guarantee of completeness

We don’t guarantee that every past job appears, that every field is filled, or that any minimum number of permits will match. If we can’t match any permits, we refund the full $599, as the terms state.

Sharing

We don’t sell your order-form data. We share it only with the processors needed to run the service: Stripe for payment, and our email provider for delivering the order and the report. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may keep ordinary server logs, such as IP address, browser, and time of request, to run and protect the site. We don’t use analytics or advertising tags, and we don’t set tracking cookies. Fonts load from this site, not from a third-party font service.

Children

Past Jobs is a business service. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.
